Center for Digital Scholarship Fellow

Brown University

September 2020-May 2021

I worked for the Center for Digital Scholarship at Brown University as an interdisciplinary opportunities fellow. At the Center I focused on supporting the Sensory Monastery project funded through the Mellon digital publications initiative and also received support for the digital components of my own dissertation.

Atalanta Transcriber and Coder

Brown University

January 2017-January 2018

I worked as a transcriber and XML coder within the Mellon-funded Furnace and Fugue project. My section of the project involved the transcribing and coding of an English translation of the original Latin Atalanta Fugiens text central to the digital interactive project. My coding has allowed for the addition of interactive features to the English text including side-by-side comparisons with the original Latin publication.

Grant Researcher

Ivy Tech

December 2015-August 2016

I worked at Ivy Tech as a grant research intern. I was responsible for identifying funding opportunities of interest to the college. I then worked to match these opportunities to current programs and initiatives at the college.

History Research Intern

Indiana Historical Society

May 2011-July 2011

I worked with the exhibits team to both plan and research historical topics relevant to the preparation of public spaces. I also researched the historical background needed by actors to occupy those spaces and interact with the public. While there I had the opportunity to learn about document preservation methods and archival techniques.
